The South Yorkshire ICB, work with partners in the four Places (Barnsley, Doncaster, Rotherham and Sheffield) to understand and meet the local health and care of people in each of these areas.
By focusing attention on local communities and the services, care and wellbeing needed by the people who live in them, they can support everyone to be healthier. The ICB want to make the most of the skills of local people, communities and organisations to support people to lead healthier lives and care for themselves and each other.
Each area has been allocated NHS funds, which is spent on improving people’s health by ensuring that we deliver joined up services, through local decision making arrangements.
For further information see the South Yorkshire ICB website, including details of Committee meetings.
